More information
Huatulco
Oaxaca, a state in southern Mexico, has the town of Santa Mara Huatulco. Widespread pre-Hispanic ruins, including a ceremonial centre with a sizable stone temple and a ball court, may be seen nearby in the Parque Eco-Arqueológico Copalita. Jade and pottery artefacts from the location can be found in the Bocano del Ro Copalita Museum. Huatulco National Park, nearby on the Pacific coast, has beaches, coral reefs, and a wide variety of fauna.
The Malecon
The city's popular boardwalk by the beach is lined with shops, restaurants and artists selling their wares. Begin your stroll at the Los Milenos sculpture by Mathis Lidice and head southward.
Panama Canal & Historic Locks
The narrow isthmus separating the Atlantic from the Pacific Ocean had a colorful and turbulent history long before Ferdinand de Lesseps first dreamed of building a transcontinental canal. While transiting Gatun Lake, disembarkation is restricted to tours booked through the Cruise Line.
Cable Car Museum
Antique cable cars on exhibit in the historic building that houses the cable-pulling equipment.
