Excellent Itinerary!
Curated by Condé Nast Traveler with Oceania Cruises | Featured Editor’s Tip: Tango is like oxygen Buenos Aires, but it can be hard to know where to start breathing it. The Almagro neighborhood is the place. Take inspiration from the Carlos Gardel mural on the corner of Anchorena and Zelaya streets before popping into his former home turned museum. Get your footwork fancy down in a group class at La Catedral milonga, a dance hall with a live DJ. Traveling solo? Book a tango taxi, or dance partner paid by the hour, with whom to try a few rounds on the dancefloor, then wind down at El Boliche de Roberto, a bar notable frequented by musicians whose mournful melodies always pack out this tiny, authentic spot.

More information
Sugarloaf Mountain
Rising 396 meters above the harbour, Sugarloaf Mountain is said to have derived its name from its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar. To reach the summit, passengers take two cable cars. The first ascends to the shorter Morro da Urca, 220 meters high. The second car ascends to Pão de Açúcar. The bubble-shaped cars offer passengers 360° views of the surrounding city. The ascent takes three minutes from start to finish.

The historic neighborhood of San Telmo
Pop-up art galleries, late-night bars and street murals lend old San Telmo a bohemian vibe. Lined with antiques dealers and raucous steakhouses, Defensa street cuts through Plaza Dorrego, where a flea market and street performers attract tourists every Sunday. In Parque Lezama, paths wind around tall jacaranda trees and the Italianate Museo Histórico Nacional. Upscale tango dinner-show venues dot the neighborhood.

Ushuaia
Argentina's resort city is called Ushuaia. It is situated on the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, which is home to South America's southernmost point and is known as the "End of the World." The Martial Mountains and the Beagle Channel surround the windswept town, which is built atop a sloping hill. It serves as the starting point for tours and cruises to nearby Isla Yécapasela, sometimes known as "Penguin Island" because to its numerous colonies of penguins.
