Highlights & Sightseeing

Anchorage

Alaska's largest city, Anchorage, lies on the Cook Inlet near the state's south-central corner. Among its cultural sites is the Alaska Native Heritage Center, which showcases traditional crafts, stages dances, and displays replicas of indigenous dwellings.

Denali National Park

Witness preserved nature, hike and backpack through the park for glimpses of North America's tallest mountain, bears, wolves, caribou and so much more!

Hubbard Glacier

The Hubbard Glacier is famous for being North America’s largest tidewater glacier. It’s over 120 kilometres long (75 miles), 11 km wide (7 miles) and flows directly into Disenchantment Bay, which feeds into the North Pacific Ocean. The Hubbard Glacier height is said to be 600 feet at its terminal face (350 feet exposed above the waterline and 250 feet below the waterline. For perspective, this is the same height as the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. It’s HUGE!

Glacier Gardens, Juneau, Alaska

This 50-acre garden features species native to this temperate rainforest. Guided tours provide insight into a self-sustaining ecosystem and lookout points on Thunder Mountain are spectacular.
