We hope you are well!
With the back to school season just around the corner, we hope you and your families are continuing to stay safe! This "Stay Safe" message continues to remain as important as it was back in March. On Vancouver Island it feels like our summer is coming to an end, the cool autumn nights have started! Most suppliers are still working through the backlog of cancelations, however, it does feel like we're getting close to the goal post. Most suppliers are being very strict with cancelation policies based on the date that your booking was canceled. If you have any questions about your cancelation please don't hesitate to touch base with us, we're here for you!
Seabourn has extended the pause of operations for some of their ships. The Odyssey is scheduled to start sailing the Caribbean in December, the rest of their fleet will not sail until 2021. Some of the major American airlines have announced that they will no longer charge change fees on all tickets effective immediately, except their "basic economy" tickets, hopefully, our Canadian carriers will follow this trend!
We remain extremely positive that travel will happen in 2021 and we are seeing that lots of folks are feeling the same way as they start planning! There is some great value being offered by the cruise lines with itineraries through to mid-2022, so if you're considering travel give us a call and see what we can offer for your bucket list itinerary!
As always, we are here to assist you and best wishes to you.
Shelley, Dave and the CruisePlus Team
