CruisePlus Holiday Updates

‍First, thank you to all of the clients that chose CruisePlus this year!‍

 We are truly grateful, and we can’t do it without you.  This year has been another one of cancellations and rebooks, with a bit of travel thrown in.  We truly need you to help us come out the other side and appreciate all of your business, and referrals.  We’ve also had some clients reach out consistently to see how we are, maybe share some pictures or a joke, and reach out to our team.  Thank you so much – your care has meant a lot to us!

We are optimistic!

‍ Even though we are in a bit of a slow down for travel again at the moment, we think 2022 has the potential to see the reopening of travel in a more consistent way.  With that in mind, we have hired some new staff – welcome to Kyra and Paige, training to be Travel Advisors, and Tiffany and Marisa, our new Marketing and Digital Assistants.  Also….a special welcome back to Marion Thomson in the new year!  Marion is an avid traveller, a lovely person, and has a tonne of experience.  She will be back in our Qualicum Beach office starting in January after a bit of Covid pause.  We have also brought our wonderful Accounting team member, Barb back and our Marketing Assistant Nicole! We are still missing our Manager, Janet, as she is on leave, but we hope to have her amazing talents back with us soon.

Why optimistic?  I think because quite a few of us have travelled recently, and we’ve had quite a number of clients wandering the world as well.  And maybe we are just stubborn!  😊 Dave and I had a month in Maui…a working holiday, but an amazing time nevertheless.  Robin has just recently returned from a trip on the Koningsdam in the Caribbean. Although travel is different and a bit more complicated…we have all found it well worth it.

We are also busy trying to be better at what we do.  

We are training, and changing some of our technologies…you may notice this when you book.  Please ensure that you watch for emails from us about your booking – that is the primary way that we will communicate.

For those of you who did book this last year…you will have noticed that we’ve always been here, always answered the phones and responded to emails, and have been your advocate with travel suppliers all along the way.  All without any compensation, unless you traveled.  Our amazing team has continued to provide the best information and service that we can, but like everyone else on the planet, we are short-staffed…so we ask for, and thank you for your patience.

As we draw closer to 2022, we encourage you to please watch our emails for great travel deals.  We have negotiated some amazing opportunities….we just need the world to open up again.  At this time, we do recommend booking, but a bit further out.  We expect Alaska to be in great demand as a cruising destination, along with Europe.  River cruising remains a hot ticket, and small group land tours as well.  What is getting you dreaming?
